What Church is not:
A Gas Station – where you can get filled up when you are feeling low
A Movie Theater – where you go to get entertained
A Drug Store – Something to fix us and/or relieve the pain
A Big Box Retailer – A one stop shop for all your needs.

What Church Is:
Genesis 2:18 – We are not meant to be solo creatures.
Hebrews 10:24-25 – We are to support and encourage one another in truth and love.

What about church at home?
Spiritual gifts are to be used with others in mind.
1 Timothy 3:14-15 – The Church is THE pillar and foundation of truth.

The Church is the Bride of Christ.

The history of the word Ekklesia. What does it actually mean?

We are to do the work of the church so that we can help others.
