God has designed the Earth so that natural phenomena (hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and wildfires) benefit mankind
The world would not be habitable if these things didn’t exist.
Hurricanes are destructive, but there are benefits:
Hurricanes are thermostats. They transfer tropical heat into temperate zones.
If not for hurricanes, the tropical ocean would get so warm that it would be depleted of oxygen, making marine life impossible.
Hurricanes bring chlorophyll from plant life in the ocean to our shores.
Hurricanes also bring precipitation for crops.
Hurricanes are Earth’s natural response to increased warming of the ocean. The warmer the ocean, the frequency and intensity of hurricanes increase.
Why are we drawn to areas where natural disasters occur?
What about forest fires?
Regular natural forest fires keep the Hemlock trees from choking out other tree species
They also bring charcoal to condition the soil
Optimal rate of forest fires is once every four years.
Our 21% oxygen level in the atmosphere makes conditions optimal for just the right amount of fires.
What about tornadoes?
Tornadoes are similar to hurricanes where dissipation of heat is concerned.
Are we ill prepared for the disasters yet to come?
The attitudes are the same as the way multitudes view Christ with salvation on the line. Many people are not prepared to meet God!
Luke 12:16-21 – do not be caught unprepared for eternity!!

Exodus 21:22 “If men quarrel, and one strike a woman with child, and she miscarry indeed, but live herself: he shall be
answerable for so much damage as the woman’s husband shall require, and as arbiters shall award. But if her death
ensue thereupon, he shall render life for life.”
