Jeff: But the reality is far different. She is, at best, a skilled manipulator who

mother: “She’s not alive, honey.”Jeff: Amanda Berry was far from dead. For 10 years she was held captive – one can
only imagine damage that may have been done by people believing in Amanda’s
death.Dave: This isn’t the first time. Browne incorrectly predicted Shawn Horbeck’s
death.Jeff: He was found alive four years later – though the “psychic” told the parents to
lose hope.Dave: What does the Bible say about such things?
Jeff: There are constant warnings against psychics, mediums, astrology and other
practices!Dave: Seeking mystical information seems to be frowned upon.
Jeff: God said, through the prophet Jeremiah, “The prophets are prophesying
lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them. They are prophesying
to you false vision, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.”
