Audio Transcript:
Dave: It’s nice that you believe in God, but I stopped believing in magic people in
the sky when I was a kid.Jeff: At least, that’s the sarcastic way of saying …
Dave: “There is no God.” Of course, to say that you need some kind of response to
the evidence for God’s existence.Jeff: For instance, take the Kalam Cosmological Argument.
Dave: It’s logical reasoning that says – anything that had a beginning, had to be
created somehow.Jeff: That’s right, Dave. A car comes from the factory. My iPod comes from Apple.
Dave: Oranges come from orange trees – anything that had a beginning, came
from SOMETHING.Jeff: We also know the universe had a beginning. (the big bang)… so check it – if
everything that had a beginning has some kind of creator, and the universe had a
beginning.. then…Dave: then the Universe had a creator.
Jeff: Yep – look it up – the Kalam Cosmological Argument. God does exist.
