Dave: Jeff, you are President of the Kansas Foster and Adoptive Parent
Association.

Jeff: That’s right. I’ve been a foster parent for years; my awesome wife really has
to do most of the work – but it is something we believe in.

Dave: Why is foster care such an important ministry for Christians?

Jeff: We should reflect God in our lives… and what is he like?

Psalms 68:5-6
[God is] A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy
dwelling. God sets the lonely in families

Dave: If that is what God is like, if that’s what he LOVES to do – –

Jeff: Then that is what we should be doing!

Dave: So, Psalm 68 says, “God sets the lonely in families.” But, how?

Jeff: God uses us to do that. We are the families that God places the lonely with –
