Audio Transcript:

Dave: Pastor Jeff, if you had to recommend some basic apologetics books, what
would you suggest to people?

Jeff: There are so many good books, it’s hard to narrow it down!

Dave: Let’s just recommend ones that get at the core of Christianity, and are fairly
easy to read.

Jeff: I’d start many people off with “Resurrection” by Hank Hanegraaff. It
discusses how we know Jesus rose from the dead, as well as some interesting
questions about the afterlife.

Dave: I’ve heard you talk about Josh McDowell’s “More Than A Carpenter” before.

Jeff: Yes, we give those to guests at our Church. It’s a great overview of why to
believe in Christianity

Dave: The author actually became a Christian while in the process of trying to
disprove Jesus’ claims!

Jeff: Yep! I’d also recommend Norman Geisler’s book, “When Skeptics Ask.” It’s a
great overview of many topics.

Dave: And it’s in a reference format, so you can simply look things up when you
want to find them.

Jeff: Books are an important part of knowing the Truth! So I’m encouraging you to grab some today! Start with the ones we suggested and go from there.
